The Last Blog

Imagen
I had never had the opportunity to write a blog before, and less in another language. At first I thought it would be the most boring thing in the world, but I think doing my own blog talking about different topics, gave me the possibility to remember incredible moments in my life, as in the blog of my favorite picture, besides having the opportunity to know a little more to my classmates reading their blogs. I feel that the time I have spent writing blog has been fun and interesting although sometimes I felt tired and did not know what to write or how to start doing it. Despite everything I think I have improved my writing and discovered new vocabulary to talk about the different topics of which I have written. Maybe if I have the possibility in the future I would like to write about my favorite place in the world, of the places that I would like to visit in the future, of my favorite Youtuber or perhaps of the musical genre that I hear the most. I feel a little sad that this i...

My favourite Animal

Imagen
Well I can´t decide about what animal to talk about because all the animals are so amazing, but at the end I decided to write about the zebras. I like the zebras since I was little; I remember when I was 6 years old, I saw the animation movie called Madagascar in the 2005, I was in love with the zebra called Marty because I was very intrigued by how different it was to all the animals I had known before, the fact that they have stripes all over his body was very cool for me. I loved so much the zebras that I begged my parents that they will buy me the stuffed toy of the zebra Marty that were selling in a store. Some information about the zebras: The zebras usually living in big meadows and rarely one find them in forests or Rocky Mountains, they live in places with abundant water for this reason we can find them in the African Continent. The zebras are herbivores. The common plains zebra is about 1.2–1.3 m (47–51 in) at the shoulder with a body ranging from 2–2.6 m...

An expert on my field

Imagen
Well it is so difficult to decide but finally I have decided to write about an expert who has been my teacher for two consecutive semesters. She is Claudia Heiss Bendersky. She is a Journalist from the University of Chile. She has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the New School for Social Research in United States and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the Columbia University in United States.   Also between the years 2012 and 2014 she was elected President of the Chilean Association of Political Science. Claudia Heiss has written several articles and participated in research projects that specialize in Constitutional Reforms, Political Institutions, Republicanism and Liberalism. I decided to write about her because I think she is a very intelligent woman with an impressive curriculum. I chose her as a teacher for Contemporary Political Ideas and Debates in the second semester of the race and in Political Phenomena Studies in the third semester and...

My Hobbie

Since I was little I loved to dance, I remember that I started to like dancing because I watched a television program called Mekano, I saw it every day and I knew all the choreographies. But I could not go to an academy or something like that because there was no money for that.   However, when I was 16 years old a dance academy was opened near my house and I signed up for a style of dance called New Style, which involves Hip-Hop movements and some softer movements. I remember that my first class was a Saturday morning and I loved it, I was completely hypnotized by the rhythm, the feelings of the choreography and how great it felt to dance.  The next year my teacher stopped teaching at that academy, I was so sad. But I decided to take a dance style called Dancehall, born in Jamaica, which had always attracted my attention because of the joyful rhythm of their songs and their movements so energetic. It has been the best choice I have taken, the Dancehall has given m...

My Favorite Picture

Imagen
This photo was taken at a Passa Passa event in 2016, the year I started dancing Dancehall. This event is organized by a great female exponent, a fantastic dancer, called Leona. The main essence of this event is that the people who love Dancehall can show their dance and their own style to the other dancers, it is about sharing But why did I get involved in it? At that time I took classes regularly and my teacher invited us to participate in this event. We rehearsed more than three times a week, from August to November. This picture it means a lot to me, has you can see we were too happy and excited to introduce ourselves and receive a trophy and not only that I had the opportunity to meet people who share the same love for dance, many of the people in this photo became my best friends.                 I love them I would not change them for nothing.

My Favorite Movie

Imagen
My favorite movie is Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is an American animated western drama film and was released in 2002 produced by DreamWorks Animation and directed by Kelly Asbury and Lorna Cook.   This movie took about a history of Spirit a wild and ungovernable steed that crosses the North American border. When he meets a man for the first time, a young man from the Lakota tribe called Little Creek, Spirit refuses to let himself be tamed by him but he becomes his friend. The brave steed also finds love with a beautiful mare called Rain. Spirit will become one of the great anonymous heroes of the Old West. The first time I saw the movie with my cousin Fernanda I was 6 years old and I remember we cried for the entire last half of the movie because it so sad, but the message with the union, love and trust makes the movie great and that's what I love about that.
